Sea water cooled or fresh water cooled Horizontal shell & tube types are available. Refrigerant in shell is condensed by sea/fresh water in tubes. The cooling water tubes are made of copper for fresh water, while Alum/Brass or Cu/Ni (90/10) tube applied for anti-corrosive purpose of seawater service.
